Jurg van Dyk brings a combination of engineering precision and a lifelong commitment to the Great Commission. With over 35 years of experience, Jurg serves as a strategic bridge between technical infrastructure and spiritual outreach, ensuring that the physical needs of the Church never stand in the way of its mission.
Jurg’s career began in the high-stakes world of South African commercial construction, where he spent a decade as a Site Engineer and Site Agent for leading construction firms. In a pivotal shift to missions, he then dedicated 15 years to Mozambique, where he established a mission organisation and partnered with international agencies to build a mission base and Bible school in Dondo—a hub that continues to train and equip leaders today.
Since 2015, Jurg has focused on solving the logistical and infrastructural “roadblocks” that hinder churches and mission organisations across Africa. Having served MMM South Africa on an ad hoc basis, he officially joined the Board in 2024, helping to steer the organisation’s technical vision.
Jurg is driven by a passion to solve infrastructural problems so that missionaries can focus on their work and calling. By leveraging his construction management background, he ensures that Kingdom projects are built to last and to empower.
Jurg and his wife, Minda, reside in Pretoria, South Africa, and are the proud parents of two daughters and a son.
