Neil Eichstadt is a founding member, Project Coordinator and Trustee of MMM South Africa, with more than three decades of hands‑on experience in electrical engineering and mission‑focused infrastructure.

After completing an electrical apprenticeship, Neil joined OM South Africa in 1993, serving on Operation Heart Transplant aboard the MV Doulos as an electrician and progressing to Electrical Team Leader and Electrical Officer until 2003. He later served as Missions Coordinator and deacon in his local church and as Facilities Manager for OM’s Pretoria offices.

Neil joined MMM in January 2008 (part-time) and moved to full-time in January 2017. He has led and supported design projects across Africa — including Zambia, Tanzania, Rwanda and Madagascar — and played a key role in the design, commissioning and ongoing technical support of a 250 kVA electrical microgrid in Tanzania (commissioned February 2021).

Known for practical problem‑solving and a heart for mission, Neil focuses on sustainable, visible solutions that communicate the good news of Jesus in tangible ways. He is married to Marie; their daughter, Nicole, teaches in Muscat, Oman.
